Happy Wednesday, Happy February, Happy life!

I didn’t get a chance to finish this blog post yesterday, so let’s just pretend like it’s Tuesday, mmkay? Yesterday’s outfits (yes, outfitssssssss) were all about happiness and joy and optimism.

Remember how I bought my friend Anna and I matching shirts for Christmas? Well, as it turns out, she did the same thing for me! So basically we couldn’t NOT do a post about, which actually worked out perfectly because yesterday’s Wear What Where Style Challenge was themed “on repeat.”

Get it? Our shirts are on. repeat.

Cool.

Anyway, I don’t have a ton of time for blogging today so this post will be short and suh-weeeeet.

By now you know the drill. Anna and I styled the same shirt in hella different ways and managed to squeeze cute boots into both looks. Dope, right?

Here’s what yours truly came up with!

To answer the question everyone is wondering, yes. I doooo wear t-shirts with skirts and I think doing so makes for a really fun, feminine look.

I picked up this skirt at Target a few months back, and I’ve been DYING to put it on the blog. Figured the sparkly skirt went perfectly with my shiny Canty boots, plaid tights, and a happy, happy, happy t-shirt.

Aaaand now for Anna’s outfit!

As you can see, Anna is way, way, wayyyy smarter than me because she layered her outfit. Which was smart because it was like, 25 degrees out when we took these photos, so basically I froze while Anna laughed at me because I’m such a loser.

So anyyyyway, I loved what Anna did here for a few reasons. Not only does her striped undershirt complement the lettering on the t-shirt, it ALSO ties into the blanket pattern on the boots. Say whaaat? And on top of that, the vest’s color complements the boots’ warm brown color, which warms up the look overall. I also think it adds a little bit of a country edge to the outfit.

So, let’s face it. Anna is better at fashion than me. It’s fine. I’m dealing with it.

To wrap up today’s post, I’ll leave you with a little fun fact. Anna is an incredible designer. Like, I have posters she made hanging on the wall in my living room. THAT is how incredible she is.

I asked her to give me a happy quote to go with today’s happy outfits and this is what she gave me:

I MEAN, REALLY, HOW PRETTY IS THIS?!?!?!

Do yourselves a favor and go check out Anna’s blog, then go buy something from her Etsy shop, then go treat yourself to this shirt, THEN go be recklessly optimistic and badass and stuff.
