Today’s blog post is going to be real short and real sweet, folks. I spent half the afternoon in the DMV, and the other half trying on what seemed like 285989 pairs of pants. So now all I want to do is hit the gym for a little bit, then watch Elf and eat sugar cookies.
Soooo that’s exactly what I’m going to do after I get done with today’s post!
For today’s outfit, I set out to show a few lovelies how to wear cowgirl boots in the winter. A few of my friends have been asking me how to style boots when it’s snowy out, since they usually only wear them during the summer with shorts. And I am here to tell you that cowgirl boots looks fan-freaking-tastic during all seasons!
Here’s what I mean :)
Just like you can’t go wrong with plaid during the summer, you can’t go wrong with plaid during the winter! To make it more fit for the cold, throw on a cozy cardigan and scarf if you got it!
Today I went with burgundy plaid, a grey cardigan, and grey boots that have layers and layers and layers of beautiful studs! Perfect combo for a snowy winter day, if you ask me.
What I reeeally love about this outfit is the details. I’m not usually a fan of big belt buckles, but this one was just begging to be worn today. It broke up the middle of the outfit perfectly, and it also looks amaaazing with these boots.
Details for today’s outfit:
- Burgundy flannel shirt from Tilly’s, $28.99
- Boyfriend cardigan from Hollister, $19.98
- Old Gringo Belinda boots from Rivertrail Mercantile, $690
- Horseshoe necklace from Montana Silversmith’s, $42
- Black jeggings from Charlotte Russe, $29.99
- My belt is vintage, but this Silver City belt (for $46.95) is super similar
Happy Tuesday, y’all!
