Happy Wednesday, y’all! I always really like Wednesdays—I love knowing I’m getting closer and closer to the weekend. I love watching Whine About It. I love, love, love back and ab day at the gym. And most of all, I love Wish List Wednesday! I love talking about pretty boots and getting to style them with pretty clothes and pretty accessories. So far THREE of my friends have bought cowboy boots after seeing just how many ways you can style them on the blog. And that makes me so, so happy.
Today’s boots are just as pretty as ever. They combine tan vintage-looking leather with bright Aztec stitching and western-influenced studs for a look that is so unique and so, so cool!
I mean, seriously, could those get any prettier? If I didn’t already have a pair of tan Corral boots with teal inlays, these would ALREADY be in my closet. Which is probably why I had such an easy style putting together five outfits that would look amazing with these. I seriously think I could have put together 15-20 outfits but I figured that miiiiiight be a bit much. So I’ll just leave y’all with my 5 favorites!
(I have to briefly apologize for the lighting in these photos. I usually take all my photos outside and rely 100% on natural light. Yesterday when I was putting these looks together it was raining cats and dogs, so I couldn’t go outside, and the clouds were too dark to really let any natural light into my room. So. Hooray for crappy lighting?)
Outfit #1: Chambray, lace, and colorful accessories
Everybody loves chambray and lace with cowgirl boots. Literally everybody. With a colorful scarf and a few colorful accessories, that love is sure to grow by like 1 billion.
This outfit would be great to wear to the office, to a job interview, or to church. It’s simple and understated, but the pops of teal make it something super special!
Outfit #2: Sparkly top and scarf, comfy jeans
FALL IS FINALLY HERE, FOLKS! Which means you’ll be seeing lots and lots more scarves on the blog. Brace yourselves.
An outfit like this would be perfect for a date night or a night out with the girls. The teal top and cream scarf match the boots perfectly, and the faded jeans complement the boots’ leather look!
Outfit #3: Cozy jacket, graphic tee, and beanie
We all have days when we just want to throw on a t-shirt, jacket, and beanie and forget about the world. On those days, it’s sometimes hard to feel pretty, but with an outfit like this, you could enjoy a lazy day and still look like a badass.
(P.S. That rad graphic tee is available at Skreened. Perfect way to communicate to pretty much everyone what you’re all about!)
Outfit #4: Stripes and lace
I love, love, love this outfit. The stripes in the shirt play really well into the various lines of stitching in the boots—all the different angles help your eyes move through the outfit. The necklace and watch complement the metal studs very nicely. The teal skirt lends some really nice structure to the outfit, while the lace vest gives the look a subtle vintage vibe. I’m seriously obsessed!
You could wear a look like this anywhere! To work, to school, to church. You could also replace the teal skirt with teal jeans or shorts and wear it to a rodeo!
Outfit #5: Oversized cardigan, colorful jeans and accessories
Eesh. I think this outfit suffered the most from last night’s lighting debacle. Even still, fall is the perfect time to rock oversized cardigans and cowgirl boots. Pair them with colorful accessories and coordinating pants, and you’ll be ready to take on pretty much anything.
Today’s boots are a brand-spankin’ new style by Corral, so hurry up and get them so you can be the talk of the town! Get them at PFI Western for $279.99 (they’re usually $299.99, so you’ll have an extra $20 that you can spend on something else!).
