YOU GUYS. I have no voice today, my ears are ringing, I’m running on 4 hours of sleep, and my body feels like it was hit by a bus. BUT THAT IS TOTALLY OKAY because my sister and I were on the FRONT FREAKING ROW for Luke Bryan last night!

I had planned on putting together an outfit post for today, but once we were in the pit there was noooo getting out or really moving that much, soooo oh well. The good news is I got some pretty rad photos from the concert, so I figure posting those is just as good, right?

Dustin Lynch was the first opener, and he is easily one of the most lovely people I’ve ever seen. He has the voice of an angel and his smile is freakin adorable.

I really like the shots below, but I felt like they needed a little something extra to really make them sing. Sooo let’s just say I had a little fun in the Snapseed app this morning.

Dustin’s set was really short—only 5 or 6 songs, which was kinda sad because he is an incredible performer and I could have watched him all day! But even though it was short, it was incredible! Dustin has tons of energy and, like I said, his voice came straight from heaven. You can really tell he loves what he does.

Randy Houser went on next, and I was pleasantly surprised with his performance. Don’t get me wrong, I like Randy Houser. But performing in between firecrackers like Dustin Lynch and Luke Bryan, I felt like he was a little out of place on the tour.

But boy, was I WRONG.

I don’t know if y’all have ever seen Randy Houser live, but that man has some serious PIPES. Hands down one of the best voices in country music!

Randy also had one of the most eccentric bands ever, and this guy was pretty much the coolest person I had ever seen. I super duper want to be his friend…which is why my sister and I were so excited when he was just wandering around after the show!

By the time Luke Bryan went on, I was exhausted. Standing for 4.5 hours in the sun will do that to you. But once he hit the stage, I forgot how much my feet hurt. To put it simply, there is a reason (or probably like, a billion reasons…) why Luke was last year’s CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Luke moves around A TON during his concerts, which made it super hard to get any really good photos, but super easy to have a really awesome time! (As cheesy as that sounds…)

Luke brought Dustin and Randy back out to sing a cover of Sugar by Maroon 5 (and to also take a shot of tequila…). I think this shot (which my sister took) perfectly captures the essence of the Kick the Dust Up Tour—great musicians who play great music and who just want to have a good time.

My favorite part of the entire show was probably when Luke sang drink a beer. It was such an emotional moment for everyone in attendance, and hearing Luke play acoustically was absolutely fantastic as well.

OH and Luke also HANDED A DRUMSTICK TO MY SISTER. So that was also pretty cool.

A crappy photo just after the wonderful moment.

All in all, the concert was super dope. Totally worth the money. Totally worth standing in the sun for hours. Totally worth getting beer thrown on us by the girls who got in a fight a few rows back. Totally worth losing my voice. Totally worth feeling like I got hit by a train.  Totally worth getting like, no sleep and feeling worthless at work.

KICK THE DUST UP, Y’ALL.
