You guys. I’m just going to cut straight to the chase today. My friend Kolton is taking over Country Hipster today, and not only are his outfits on point, we shot his photos with A) a super dope motorcycle and B) a super pretty horse. I mean, what more do you even need?
ANYWAY. Here’s my cool friend Kolton and his cool palomino paint named Gunner.
And here he is with his cool motorcycle! (I know nothing about motorcycles, so don’t even ask me what this thing is…)
I’ve known Kolton since my family moved to Sheridan in 2007. I’ve always thought he was like, one of the coolest people ever, so I was overjoyed this weekend when he let me shoot some photos of him for the blog! Kolton grew up on a giant ranch east of Sheridan, which made shooting these photos super fun and also made me miss the freaking heck out of Wyoming.
Kolton said he knows next to nothing about fashion, so I put together a few outfits that I think will be really easy for y’all to replicate. We’ll start with the more casual of the two outfits.
This outfit would be perfection for a casual date night to the movies, or maybe even a summer barbecue. The white v-neck is crisp and clean, keeping the look classy. At the same time, the faded jeans, hat, and small details on the shirt keep the look casual, making the entire outfit effortlessly cool.
Kolton’s cool v-neck is Disciples of Iron (a super cool clothing company founded by a US Navy SEAL! I’m currently coveting half the things on their site…), his jeans are Cinch and are available at Shepler’s, his boots are Horse Power, and his hat is from Blacktooth Brewery in Sheridan!
The thing I really liked about this outfit was the boots. They’re actually made from ostrich, but you can’t tell! Which I think is awesome because sometimes ostrich boots can get just a little overwhelming. These boots, however, keep things real’ classy!
I also love the simplicity in this outfit. The shirt, jeans, belt, and cowboy hat are all really understated, but together they pack a nice, classy punch. This outfit would be perfect for a summer wedding!
And just for fun, here’s a few more pictures of Kolton and Gunner. Because who doesn’t love cute cowboys and pretty horses?!
Hope y’all are having a fantastic week!
